Do touring shows do more BCEFA donations than the shows on Broadway?
I know that Broadway does the red bucket donations twice a year, but do touring shows do them at more shows?
I only ask because my friend recently saw a show and got one of the signed posters they auction off... and it would be pretty awesome if they did them when I see AAIP in June. :P
I believe they usually do, but it really depends on the tour and timing. Sadly I think June is too late on spring collections. Most shows start in the March and early May.

Most equity tours do Broadway Cares twice a year, to align with the same time period when they do it on Broadway-March and April, and October-First week of December. The first and last show in a market they are less likely to do Broadway Cares, so if you want a better shot, try during the middle of the run.
They usually sell stuff, and generally at cheaper rates than the same items from the Broadway company of the same show.
