Posted: 6/10/05 at 7:24pmThe thought of a Japanese Peter Allen is as funny as a Japanese Rhett Butler in Scarlett. I do not know why but it just strikes me this way. I would love to see it

Posted: 6/10/05 at 9:23pmHe's being played by a handsome Japanese pop star who's a terrific dancer so it's no big leap. Now, a Japanese Liza and Judy...

Opening in Japan & London. Not bad for a show most critics thought was a dog
I am curious, on the BFO CD, Sure Thing Baby was not on it despite the fact that there was more than enough room for it. I wonder why it was not on since Allen did both Music & lyrics.I also wonder who did some of the revised lyrics . The songs from Legs had somewhat different lyrics that were in the original show

.. with two young actors! I'm so worried about Max role. I mean is he supposed to be once a successful middle aged guy? This actor/singer who will play Max is like late 20's or early 30's and def looks late 20's at the most. However, the supporting actors are great especially for Roger and Carmen. Still, just to imagine that all Japanese actors playing "Springtime for Hitler" gives me a headache.

lite2shine, I think I know you! (I'm a Japanese Gavin Creel fan.)
However, the supporting actors are great especially for Roger and Carmen.
You are right. I don't go to see shows so much in Japan
('cause it usually wasting money and time for me.)
but I like an actor who will play Carman.
I saw him in Candide and he was just great!
I'm sure he can handle that role.
Still, just to imagine that all Japanese actors playing "Springtime for Hitler" gives me a headache.
...I even don't want to imagine it...
I really can't understand why Johnnys
(the agent's name, leading actors in both shows are belong to)
want to do BFO and The Producers.
When my mother and I heard that news,
we were like "Come on, it's impossible!!!!!"
