1) Read that a Tour is planned - but have found no official Site nor touring date. Tour confirmed?

2) At the Tony's, at least they should show a video clip.

3) Heard a sound clip at Amazon.com of "Waiting for the light to shine" but it was much slower than what I heard on the video clip. Did they speed it up for the new production?

4) Just want to say again how WOWed I was at seeing the video clip. If anyone has the BIG RIVER performance from the TODAY SHOW recorded on video, send a PM and I'll see if we can trade.

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

There are two versions of Waiting for the Light to Shine. A slow ballad as a solo for Huck in the first act and then a quicker Southern revivalist version including the ensemble in act two.
