When is the absolute best day to try the BOM lottery? I am trying to head up to NYC maybe next month, and I want to see this show SOOO bad. When are the least people there? All help is greatly appreiated.

Any day that has terrible weather. There really is no way to up your odds this way until winter, though. (Unless you bring 300 friends.)

If you want to see it that badly and have the time and physical ability, just do standing room.

There is no such day. I even went on Super Bowl Sunday and it was pretty packed. I agree, do standing room, which also let you try your hand at lottery but know that you are seeing the show either way.

Now t/d/b/a haterobics on here.

Terrible weather didn't help my friend. She went when it was pouring rain and there were still hundreds of people.

In my experience, the only weather that even just barely significantly affects the lottery turnout is extreme heat/humidity, or below freezing.

Unless you are really lucky the chances of winning are slim to none. The best way to get tickets would be to wait or to do SRO.

I can't do SRO. In January I had a skiing accident, and really messed up my knee. I can't stand for 2.5 hours. Unless they let you bring a fold-out chair? I've never done SRO so I wouldn't know, but I highly doubt they would allow it. But I find it ironic that we are talking about BOM, and the accident happened in Salt Lake City.

Yes, you can bring a chair for the line. But you can't use it during the show. Sorry!
