It was amazing! The cast was off the hook crazy. Maya Days came out for the final number dressed in nothing but christmas garland. I can't wait til the final show next year the whole cast seemed to be having so much fun.

I heard Christine Pedi was out... did her understudy to the "12 Divas of Christmas" number? That'd be hard for someone that doesn't have Pedi's amazing impersonation skills...

Marla apparently opened a bottle of champagne and was drinking from it whilst onstage singing.

Sounds like this last show was a blast!

I love that Marla she is a riot.
I am shocked that Christine missed the finale
I bet Kathy Brier was all over the place in the final performance she had so much energy the night I saw her.

Who was Christine's understudy?

Kate Pazakis is the understudy for Christine Pedi.

Apparently the cast was all over the place vocally at the last show, with Maya Days and Kathy Brier really going nuts.

I REALLY wish I was there!

I agree with you I wish I were there now, too

I hope they do this again next year and I would really like it if they would record the darn thing!!
This was one of the best shows I had been to in a while. I had only gone because I am such a fan of Kathy's but I have become a fan of all of these ladies!

"It was crazy.

Marla came out with a bottle of champagne before I'll Be Home for Christmas...popped it and then drank from it as it bubbled over onto her and the stage. Then brought it back out for Joy to the World. She sounded amazing and was SOOOOOOO funny.

Christine was out, but Kate Pazakis is her understudy and she's wonderful. Her Count Your Blessings was especially beautiful.

But the true highlight of the eving was Maya Days. She was nuts during Do You Hear...vocally unreal. Then during "Joy to the World" she came out wearing only gold garland. It was like straight out of Broadway Bares. Its too hard to discribe, but it was HILARIOUS.

All in all a crazy and fun last show."

No Kate doesn't do The 12 Divas of Christmas but she does do the "Roxy" number. She was fantastic Saturday night!

Maya's outfit in Joy to the world was sooooooooooooooo funny. She came out riffing the beginning like crazy and then stood center stage and said "too much?" Then the audience went nuts. She was unreal. Do You Hear What I hear was pretty fun too. She was hitting her hips and going nuts, it was like going to baptist church :) All in all a really fun and CRAZY last show.

I will tell you if Kathy is there next year so am I And Christine Pedi needs to be there too, I actually loved all of them and wouldn't mind them doing it again next year with a few additions.
Please let them record the darn thing this time.
I am still going to hope they put this year's on CD at some point. I want a copy of Kathy Brier singing River!

Kate Pazakis is a friend of mine and YES she does do impressions, but because it is Christine Pedi's signature piece they gave her another number.

I asked her when I came to see it last week. Have you heard her sing "Privilege to Pee"?
