Two cherished institutions-the Boston Pops and Broadway-celebrate thirty-five years of musical magic on BROADWAY'S BEST AT POPS, airing Thursday, November 24, 2005 on WNET-NY (check local PBS listings). Bernadette Peters hosts the one-hour special, which mixes memorable performances from the popular EVENING AT POPS series and never-before-seen interviews with Broadway luminaries.

Featuring renowned conductors of the Boston Pops-Keith Lockhart, John Williams, and Arthur Fiedler-BROADWAY'S BEST AT POPS presents showstopping performances by legends of the Great White Way, including Ethel Merman ("I Got Rhythm"), Ray Bolger ("Once in Love with Amy") Sammy Davis Jr. ("I Gotta Be Me"), Carol Channing ("Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend"), Pearl Bailey ("Hello, Dolly"), Gregory Hines ("Rhythm is My Business"), Audra McDonald ("Mister Snow") and more-some of which haven't been seen for three decades.
