I'm excited to see Eden in her first originating role. I was a little sad when I saw it was at the Plymouth just cause Taboo pulls at my heart but I guess something has to go there...

So I just watched the Brooklyn press reels...

I really like most of the music (but they should get rid of the drum machine - I know they are trying to make it as unbroadway as possible - but the drum machine sounds 1980s...get a live drummer!) - Eden Espinosa's voice is INCREDIBLE...I really hope she takes care of her voice because I can't imagine her singing this score 8 times a week... Ramona Keller also sounds amazing - as does David Jennings... there are numerous songs that build and build (especially the ones sung by these 3), and then explode ala Jennifer Holliday in DREAMGIRLS... just from watching some of the musical numbers I think this show has potential to be a huge hit... (rent meets def poetry jam meets dreamgirls? haha)

Really liked Kevin Anderson in "Death of a Saleman", and he sang a few notes from "West Side Story" on the grass watering the trees and plants in "Sleeping With the Enemy"... (hey, what can I say..? I actually liked that movie!!)
