I think the review is very accurate. I saw the show in NY, before it went to NYTW, and I felt the same way. These guys are extremely talented musicians, and terribly glib, but somewhere they lost the focus of the song cycle, and got too into their own musings, which were not very profound. I felt the show was overpriased in NY, though I don't want to sound mean, I think this evaluation is much more realistic.
