Anyone else have any opinions on this show? I'm kinda indifferent about it. The preview doesn't do much for me. In the sense that, I'm not compelled to see the show. Just because I didn't find it all that great. The acting just didn't seem to be "there." I dunno. any other opinions? The writing seemed okay, I guess.
Well, no, I mean i've read people's reviews, but then again, you can't put much footing in those either. Its just someone's opinions. I'm just saying, from what I heard/saw, I can't imagine it a Pulizter winner. I dunno, it just didn't strike me as all that great. though, i do plan on reading the whole thing. I saw it at Barnes and Noble the other day.
You really should read or see it before you voice your opinion on whether a play is Pulitzer-worthy work. I haven't done either, but I don't judge its merit (or lack thereof, whichever) based on a short preview video. It's fine to say that it doesn't appeal to you in terms of being compelled to see it, but you can't deem it not-Pulitzer material if you haven't even seen it.
Thank you. THAT was my issue with RentBoy's post. He's being incredibly ignorant in making judgements based on knowledge he doesn't even have because he knows nothing about the show other than the 3 short clips presented in this video. Had he just said that it didn't appeal to him, I would have respected his opinion.
