Back From a Disappointing London

What I Did For Love, I guess would be a hit to a degree but did it ever chart?
I know that Shakalaka Baby from BOMBAY DREAMS was a chart hit in the UK.
Others I remember lately--
Our Kind Of Love-- HANNAH (Beautiful Game)
No Matter What - BOYZONE (Whistle Down The Wind)

Posted: 4/20/04 at 4:49pmFYI I was in London for a full week and therefore had plenty of oppurtunies to see shows. So I saw one or two I had seen in America and was interested in comparing with London. I'm so pathetic.

Posted: 4/20/04 at 5:05pmI've seen some rather amazing singers in London, but few of the shows seemed polished. Generally, the heavy-hitters such as the Lloyd-Webber or Mackintosh shows will feature the best talent, but then, even a small show like All You Need is Love or Song of Singapore will have fantastic singer like Issy Van Randwyck. The long-running shows are the ones that usually fall by the wayside. The biggest difference I have noticed would be in the dancers. The British chorus dancers usually are not as sharp and clean as Americans.
