Okay, so I just listened to Bailey on Music Choice's Show Tunes channel.
It's her official version of "So Much Better."
She's definitely less nasal than LBB which is a plus. She does not, however, have the same power in her voice that Laura has. Perhaps that will develope with time and training.
She has a much more mature and sweet sound, but then at moments (when she's speaking lines. Ex: but hey last year I was her, etc.) it turns into a sorority/childish (but not whiney) sound. Almost like it's 2 different people?
An interesting vibrato. It irks me a little when she sings the word "List" because it sounds like "Li -ist" every time. lol I feel like it's something Seth would deconstruct.
A definite contrast to LBB.

TheaterBaby I do agree with you on the fact that she does have a sweet non-nasally sound to her voice which is refreshing. Don't get me wrong I'm a die hard Laura Bell fan but I think Bailey was a great fit. I actually just heard her very first "Take it Like a Man" on Youtube. I must say I was completely blown away at how much her voice has improved with the help of her amahzing vocal coach. In the beginning she sounds a lot like LBB so it threw me for a minute but then she kinda adds her own little flavor to it. IT'S AMAHZING!!!! Here's the link: http://youtube.com/watch?v=ruPkZ2nZwUc
She's definitely sounding less mechanic than she was portrayed on the reality show.
Thanks for that link :)
I am seeing her this Sunday!
Does anyone know if Row M is good? I bought the tickets already, so this question is kind of pointless...I found something closer on Ticketmaster, but it appeared a couple after M. When I went to the box office the woman wouldn't look for anything closer.
