Hey, I heard Babs Streisand is interested in making a film of this Alan/Marilyn Bergman-Michael Bennett flop from 1979. Did anyone see it...I think there is a cast recording somewhere, anyone hear it?

"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” ~ Muhammad Ali

Saw the show and used to own the recording (long gone from my collection).
Can only remember Dorothy singing the first song, that ball that makes the stage glitter and the antique gypsies.

I enjoyed BALLROOM that I went back to see it again before it closed. I think it was a good show that never found its audience. I have the OBC on black vinyl.

I bet she wants to do it just so she can sing "Fifty Percent".
