The comment regarding discounting is incorrect. The Hippodrome does regular discounting for groups and students all of the time, and special promotional discounts as well. The fact of the matter is that discounting does not work. You spend much more money trying to promote a discount that you will ever get a return on. Additionally, discounts create public relations issues with the people who paid full price, because invariably they are sitting next to someone who paid the discounted price.
