"Bare is the kind of obsstreperous junk that thrives in California then arrives here in the hope of making it in the wake of successful junk like Urinetown. That show, at least was shrewd enough to crib from Kurt Weill, and compared with Bare smells like Rosenkavalier. Avoid it, unless you are a punker or develpmentally challenged"

I originally read John Simon's review and I thought to myself, is he developmentally challenged? I loved it, so do a lot of my friends, which means don't always listen to these big shots. HAHA

John Simon should preface his reviews with 'keep in mind I am old and tired and wish it were 1958 again.'
