With the planned revival of "Barefoot in the Park" coming up, directed by Scott Elliot...just thought I would share my idea of the perfect cast. Feel free to comment or add your own ideas as well.
Paul Bratter: Patrick Wilson
Corie Bratter: Parker Posey (if unavailable, Amanda Peet)
Mrs. Parks: Elaine Stritch (if unavailable, Carole Shelley)

Still a fan of Redford, Fonda, Natwick and Boyer. But if I had to recast the chestnut, I'd do an Ivo Van Hove version of it and deconstruct it like he did with Hedda and Streetcar:
Paul Bratter: Liev Shreiber or Sam Rockwell
Corie Bratter: Elizabeth Marvel
Victor Velasco: Eric Bogosian (too young, but who cares he'd be funny) or Al Pacino
Corie's mother: Jane Fonda (ha), Sigourney Weaver, Olympia Dukakis ("you've got a lovebite") or Helen Mirren (who would fearlessly get naked with Victor)

Parker was god-awful in TALLER THAN A DWARF on Broadway, but brilliant in FIFTH OF JULY and HURLYBURLY. I guess her stage acting has really improved.
Plus, she's not a bad looking woman, either.
