well the only thing taht would make up for jesse leaving Bee would be Barrett replacing him

We need more love for Barrett.
Just an fyi, I saw Barrett in Cupid and Psyche and I knew (actually my best friend tapped me and said- the angel is going to be a star)
Hope he gets his own role. He deserves the WORLD.
Barrett appreciation is from now till July 2!

Posted: 6/9/06 at 3:23pmYou'd be suprised at what physical types work for what role. It's amazing what good acting, makeup and costuming can do. Todd Buonapane, if compared to the current Broadway cast, only shares a figure with Josh Gad. But he understudies Leaf, Chip, and Panch as well. Jose Llana, as Chip, is a beautiful man, but onstage he looks dorky and young. I could see Foa understudying Leaf and Chip.

Barrett has said many times that his next step is to create an original role on Broadway.
Besides, why would he leave a leading role on Broadway to replace a supporting role?
It makes no sense.

I find it a bit weird for him to be playing Leaf, but I guess you're right that makeup and costumes and the ability to character act can go a LONG way..
I wish him good luck in another hilarious show.
