Barrow Street Players?

I was reading one of the guy's bios in "Becky Shaw" and it said he was a member of the "Barrow Street Players" or something to that effect. I'm no where near my playbill (on vacation), but I'm curious to know what the company was called? I'm looking to join an acting company, and it sounded interesting. Any idea what it was called? Or any suggestions?
