nm, found it on Amazon, its him (Barry) singing the songs.
I thought this thread was about Manilow getting lucky.
It is a CD, comprised of music from Manilow stage scores (Copacabana and the upcoming Harmony) but they are his individual recordings of these songs, not from the shows themselves.
Harmony has some WONDERFUL music in it and I look forward to hearing more of it in Scores and the entire score on stage in 2005 when the show hits Broadway.

yup, there are clips of all the songs on Amazon. I forgot to look it up before I posted. I was in a production of Copa this summer, the music is a lot of fun!
Harmony promises to be a wonderful addition to Broadway. It is based on the story of the 6 Jews who were basically the Backstreet Boys of their time and had the misfortune of becoming wildly famous just as the Nazis were coming into power.
There was actually a play that ran very briefly in New York a couple of years ago on the same topic but by then Harmony was already in progresss and was in La Jolla running in previews.
The subsequent starts and stops have been disappointing for everyone and the cast has tried to stay available and has been very supportive throughout the process which included going to court to get the rights back to the show and finding another producer, raising money etc.
But the score and book have gotten really good buzz and the music I've heard from this show is at times powerful and at times fun. I can't wait to see it.
No, I'm not a shill for the show. Just someone who has watched this go through a lot of evolution and really wishes the cast and crew much success.
