EQUITY NEGOTIATIONS UPDATE:
Among other things, the producers are looking to prohibit actors from skiing or playing basketball. Actors should know what's best for them. Hand models do not build houses. Voice over artists do not scream at football games....
Next thing you know part of the equity contract will include a blacklisting of french fries.
League of Producers... List of contract revisions...

Not to mention the things you can catch by using a public restroom.

Posted: 6/28/04 at 12:01pmTo be fair, it's practically standard for professional athletes to have clauses in their contracts against things like basketball and skiing- the latter is especially hazardous. Remember Aaron Boone's trouble with off-season basketball?

Posted: 6/28/04 at 2:40pmI remember years ago during the Broadway show league, Marcia Gay Harden pulled a leg muscle on her way to first base. They had to reblock the show for her foe a few days because she really couldn't move much.
