Songwriter Larry O’Keefe is bringing Larry’s Rites of Spring to the stage at Birdland this Monday night at 7pm. The composer of Bat Boy: The Musical is well-known for bringing extravaganzas comprised of absolutely brilliant talent especially for you, the viewing public. This show will be no different! On hand to sing his screamingly funny material will be Jill Abramovitz (Suddenly Hope), Kerry Butler (Little Shop of Horrors, Hairspray, Bat Boy), Joe Cassidy (Les Miserables), Sara Chase (Unauthorized Biography of Samantha Brown), Julie Garnye (Hair concert), Deven May (Bat Boy, NYC and UK), Kevin Pariseau (I Love You, You're Perfect…), Mo Rocca ("The Daily Show"), and Emma Williams (Bat Boy UK and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang UK). Richard Glazier will be in to preview his Friday night Carnegie Hall tribute to Gershwin and Arlen. Trent and Trudy Lee, kind of a ‘Steve-And-Eydie-On-Crack’ will show you why their show, A Touch of Vegas, is a huge hit at the Dominion Theater.
