Beacon Theatre seating?

I know that it isn't a Broadway house, but does anyone know how seating is at the Beacon Theatre? My sister wants to purchase tickets for an upcoming event, but neither of us have ever been inside and she is wondering about how large it is, where the best seats are, and how the view from the balcony is. Thank you in advance!

As a HUGE fan of sixties jam bands ( my avatar is the greatful dead logo) I know the Beacon like the back of my own hand. AMAZING concert venue, just AMAZING. It's small and has WONDERFUL acoustics so no matter where you sit you will enjoy the gig. So, to answer your questions balcony seats are great. I started to buy em there because it's cheaper.

I have had so many memories in this one venue then anyother broadway theatre combined. All my favorite bands have played here. I still love the Allman brothers band run every srping.

Unfortunatly, they got bought by cablevision but that is neither here nor there. End of threadjack.

It is a former movie palace dubbed "The Little Roxy" as it was designed by the same architect & the rotunda is a minature version of the Roxy's massive one

The architectural style is a mish mash of a number of things. Seat wise, you should be OK basically wherever you sit even though there are about 2700 or so seats I believe
