Broadway’s Shoshana Bean, Christian Campbell, Stephanie D’Abruzzo, Cady Huffman, Donnie Kehr, Michael Lanning, Karla Mosley, Nikki Snelson, Tracie Thoms and others sing the songs of Jeremy Schonfeld


For one show only, top Broadway talent comes together to perform alongside Jeremy Schonfeld, one of today’s most sought after singer/songwriter talents. Highlights of the evening will include songs from Schonfeld’s previously released albums Blue Skies and All and Drift, as well as previously unreleased originals and songs from forthcoming projects. The show takes place on Sunday, June 24 at 7:00pm at Joe’s Pub.

In addition to Schonfeld, scheduled to perform are Tony Award-winner Cady Huffman (THE PRODUCERS), Tony Award-nominee Stephanie D’Abruzzo (AVENUE Q), Shoshana Bean (WICKED, HAIRSPRAY), Christian Campbell (REEFER MADNESS, TICK … TICK … BOOM!), Donnie Kehr (JERSEY BOYS), Michael Lanning (CIVIL WAR), Karla Mosley (DRIFT), Nikki Snelson (LEGALLY BLONDE, SWEET CHARITY), and Tracie Thoms (RENT THE MOVIE), among others.

Jeremy Schonfeld’s singular blend of tuneful pop, hard-edged rock, gospel, soul and blues has drawn him comparisons to Billy Joel and Jonathan Larson in the New York Times. Smart and contemporary with intelligent lyrics, Schonfeld is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music and BMI Lehman-Engel Musical Theater Workshop. The album for his musical DRIFT (with Craig Pospisil) was released by Sh-k-boom Records, and was recently seen at last year’s New York Musical Theatre Festival.

Legally Blonde has a 7pm show on Sunday nights...I wonder what Nikki Snelson will be doing? Calling out of Blonde to do the gig, or missing the gig because of Blonde (Blonde is a two and a half hour show...unless the gig will be longer than that?)...hmmm.

Doesn't Snelson not go on in Legally Blonde until later in the show? Maybe she'll be in the beginning part at Joe's Pub?

She's actually in the opening number of the show as one of the sorority sisters.

After that, though, she's not on until the opening of the second act. Maybe she'll leave for a little and come back? I don't know, guess everyone'll find out on Sunday, lol.

Did Snelson have an understudy go on? Or did she run back back and forth between this and Legally Blonde?

OT: When Broadway Bares happened last week, what did Leslie Krizter, Laura Bell Bundy & Annaleigh Ashford (along with everybody in Broadway Bares from Legally Blonde) do? I know "Bares" didn't start until 9:30, but that is when Legally Blonde's Sunday evening performances end. Just curious.

Nikki did not perform at the benefit last night.

As for Broadway Bares, I can only imagine that the performers left IMMEDIATELY after Legally Blonde ended. I imagine they were not all in the first few numbers, giving them a chance to get dressed and in makeup and such. The only one who that explanation wouldn't work for is Kritzer, though, since she was the hostess of the evening. Hmm.

fyi Kritzer did not perform in the 7pm Blonde the night of Broadway Bares- Tracy Jai went on as Serena. Laura Bell, Annaleigh, etc. were all in Blonde's evening show the night of Bares.
