Beauty and the Beast Attendance!

She's keeping attendance over 70%! Lets get this girl signed on for longer! Brooke is awesome! :) Attendance is up 7.7% from last week, and let's not forget, in her first week (a notoriously slow week for Broadway) attendance went up 31%.

This season is a slow season in general so lets hear it for Brooke!

82.3% I second the YAY !!! Hope Beauty keeps it up...We want to see Brooke signed for a long time.

I can't wait to see it! I'm disappointed though that I might be getting only rear mezz seats; I'd like to be in the orchestra.

hit the box office. i'm sure you can get better seats. brooke has great facial expressions so you really wanna sit close.

I'm going with school, so I doubt I can do so. Unless by some bizarre chance we're in the orchestra. Tickets were $46...what do you think?

You should try and go on your own to be in orchestra because I don;t know if they have a large amount of seats in orchestra, plus most schools are really cheap (mine is, especially with the theatre funding). You'll want to see Brooke again.

Well, heck, I'll go with school and sit where I have to. I'm old enough to go to NYC without my parents, as long as I have a group of people to go with (I haven't done that yet, but probably could). So I can probably go back in the future and see a show at my convienence.

As for now, I'll stick with the binoculars, because there is no guarantee I can see it in the future, so it's better now.

I'm excited my 2 cousins who live in Las Vegas are coming to visit one is 12 and the other is 9 and I don't think either of them have seen a show before so I want to be the cool older cousin and take them in to see Beauty and the Beast! There planing on coming the end of the moths so I am hoping that there parents will be cool with them going with me to see the show! It should do ok my Uncle is cool (un like my Mom lol) so I think that would be a lot of fun for all the 12 year old will like it becasue of the princes and all the girly stuff and her Brother will like the Beast and all.. so it think its a win, win deal!

I mean no disrespect here, because I like Brooke's performance, but have you also noticed all the Beauty and the Beast commercials that are running in the tri-state area? Maybe Brooke's not the ONLY reason attendance is staying up...

Just a bigger picture perspective.

Is Brooke really that well-known by a lot of people? I don't think she is someone everyone knows, so I don't think she is the "main" reason why attendance has boosted. Yes, a reason, but not the primary one. It may have been the commercials that dancinfan has mentioned.

Well, I think that part of it has to do with the fact that word of mouth on how Cristy was in the role kind of Kept people away form the show. Not that she is gone people are flocking back to the show, and word of mouth on Brooke have been really good so while she isn't 'Kim Posable' she is a Belle people are seeing and enjoying.. and this is one of the slowest times for theater and for a show running for 10 years to be as high as it is in audience attendance some body has got to be doing something right! and I thing one of the something rights is Brooke!

Christy Romano probably did, though, attract a lot of little kids who watch Kim Possible and Even Stevens. That helped keep the attendance and grosses up.
