For the first time in 15 years "Beauty and the Beast" will have a MAJOR return to Los Angeles at the Pantages Theatre from March 9 - 26, 2011. I can't believe it has been that long since it last performed there.

I saw the March 20 matinee and left at intermission. What was so capitaving and magical the first time I saw it (at the Century City Shubert Theater many years ago) is now a fairly boring mess.

The Pantages theater felt like a 3-ring circus with all the screaming children. (I know, that's what I get for attending a Saturday matinee -- sorry, that's the season tickets I have).

ok good, i am not the only one that thought that! i was totally disappointed and the pantages was boasting how it was the most successful show blah blah blah
thats because most ppl that saw the show had never seen it before and they didnt know what to expect. this tour of beauty and the beast is an epic fail
