Rushed this morning on Wednesday, June 5th. Got to the box office about 7:30. Second person didn't join the line until right at 8. Third person came about 8:10. After that a people trickled in until box office opening. At 10 there was about 20-25 people in line. I got orchestra row C seats 1 and 3 for the matinee. The three people behind me all got row B center orchestra. I had amazing seats and loved the show!

@kendalles what time did you arrive to the rush line and is there a specific side the line starts on? I’m planning on going tomorrow morning. Planning on getting there at 7:30. Should I go earlier?

It's interesting how some days there's no one in line and days where there's 20+. Hopefully I come on a lucky day.

I rushed this morning and got there at 7am. When we arrived there were 4 people ahead of us. Someone else arrived around 7:30am. By 8:30am all of a sudden more people started arriving. By the time the box office opened, there were like 30 people in line. Some people left the line because they felt they wouldn’t get tickets. I got Orch O seats 1 & 3 center aisle seat.

Was Kerry Butler in contention to get one of the five nomination slots for her portrayal of Barbara (the Geena Davis role)? Could someone please refresh my memory?

Bump!
Anyone rush as of late and have a suggested time to arrive? Hoping to go on a week day.

I got one rush ticket Wednesday 7/19 for the evening show right before curtain. Maybe because it was a two show day and everyone who rushed went for matinee? Don’t know. But there were a few far side seats left that probably also counted as rush.

Little late, but got to the box office on 6/15 around 11:30 and was able to snag 2 tickets for the matinee! Don't remember the exact seats but they were a full (but side) view. It was a great show!

According to Playbill, it's a two ticket limit so you should be fine

Rushed Thursday after going to the live GMA Adam Lambert show. Got to the box office at about 9:40am. Over 20 people ahead of me. No issues getting rush. I think they're basically selling rush to everyone who asks for it to fill the show! Side orchestra seats.
Just got back from my first rush, Wednesday matinee. Got there a little after 8, my friend and I were the 8th and 9th person in line. By 8:15, around 8 more people had shown up. By 9, it was around the block (it was hard to count as Stardust was blocking the line). My friend and I got H 14 and 16, seemingly middle of Orch right. I'll update after the show if those seats are obstructed or not, I don't think they are, but I'm not sure.
Edit: I wouldn't call these seats obstructed, but they do feel like rush. Like most of the action is fine as it's center stage (the far right of the house does cut off some actors, mostly a BJ clone or two), but the biggest problem was it was really easy to see behind the stage/many effects. The angle left a lot of the spectacle too easy to figure out, which was still fun to think about and worth the money, but also slightly disappointing for such an effect heavy show.

I rushed today. Got there about 11.00 after walking up from Be More Chill rush. They still had tickets for both the matinee and evening. I got Row N in the orchestra on the left (but supposed to be full view) will report back. Also show was not sold out so hopefully I will be able to move closer to the centre at intermission.

Currently it’s 8:30AM on a Tuesday and I’m sixth in line:) Rush is at 10! Also it was rainy last night and it’s unusually chilly this morning (68° in mid July). It’s been drizzling/sprinkling on and off all morning. I say all of that to allow you to make inferences on how weather may affect the line for tickets, lol. Best of luck to everyone! I’ll update once I find out if I got a ticket or not!
Update#1: Seventh person arrived at about 8:45, and eighth at about 8:50. After that, I lost track lol
Update #2: 9:10 AM, I’m now number eight in line bc a couple of line hoppers joined their friend ahead of me lol UGH
Update #3: Orchestra row M!

I rushed this past Saturday for the matinee. I got there at around 7:15am and I was the third person there. The group in front of me got there minutes beforehand and were rushing for the evening performance. By the time it was 10am the long reached the end of the block. My tickets were full view (a bit off to the right side) and in the ninth row orchestra. It was truly an incredible show. Entire cast was so incredible and now the score is one of my favorites!!! GL everyone.

Rush update:
I rushed today Wednesday, Aug 7th for the 8PM show. I showed up late (I was at CITS getting my lottery loser tickets for the Oklahoma! matinee in person to avoid the 13.50$ online service charge).
Showed up shortly before 10:30, and there must have been 40 people in front of me so I almost walked out. But I’m glad I didn’t!
I got a single rush ticket for the 8PM show ORCH LEFT Row P, seat 35 (I think it’s the third last on the left). The guy at the box office said that even though it’s marked as “Partial View” it’s one of the better “Partial View” seats out there because it’s so far back, I’ll miss barely anything.
I’ll update how the view is once I get to the theatre!

So I'm at the theatre at 8:40 and either I'm first in line or in the wrong spot! I'm right in front of the theatre, does the line start elsewhere?
Understudy Joined: 2/7/19
That theater has two sides...a front and back. The back is the stage door and can be confusing. I hope you weren’t waiting in the wrong spot.

I was. :/ Got here at 8:17, but didn't figure out I was in the wrong place until 8:45. Oh well. I'm about 10th in line, I'll report back as to where the tickets are.
For simpletons like me, if you see a door that says "stage door", YOU'RE ON THE WRONG SIDE. Even though the side on 7th av looks like an entrance, make sure you're on the Broadway side. That was my bad.

Has anyone rushed this show recently? I'm traveling to NYC this weekend and wanted to see this. Any input on arrival time and rush seat locations? Thanks!

I got my ticket through the lottery (and moved my seat during intermission to more center) - the person sitting next to me when I had moved my seat said she did the lottery and was placed in orchestra row G last seat on the right. She said the view wasn’t too great and was happy she moved to the more central seat
