I got to go backstage at the Princess of Whales Theatre in Toronto when Lion King was playing there. The sets and costumes were amazing up close. It was so neat to walk out onto the stage and to climb "pride rock" (until they told me I had to get down for insurance reasons).

I went on a backstage tour of TLK on Broadway once. It was really neat to see the costumes up close and how they store all those sets. It was pretty neat to read all of the celebrity messages in the wings too.

The Lion King is actually REALLY cool about giving backstage tours. At least the Gazelle tour. You need to know someone though, really. If anyone plans to see it, let me know I can see what I can do.
