Behind the scenes with Wicked

Did anybody go tonight? (2/9/06) I went and Beacon TV was there videotaping. I'm not sure when it will be on but you can see the hour interview on Beacon TV. There were 3 cast members there- I took picture but haven't gotten them deveoped yet.

It was a great interview. I'm not gonna get into the whole thing now, I'm sure it will re-run on Beacon TV about 100X like everything else does.
It was really neat because there was a guy who told us when to clap, when to laugh...etc...

I'm not sure I'll get to go see it because all the standing room tickets are sold out and the lady said the lotto is near impossible. But, my friend Shayna may be able to get me a ticket. Otherwise I found a playbill on the floor....yea, I'm officially a trash picker.

If anybody else went, let me know!

Apparently they do sell standing room tix, even over the phone...Look within the columns I've posted within the past few days. There is one titled something like Wicked Ft. Lauderdale Lottery. I believe there is a way to purchase standing room over the phone for something like $28.00. Good luck!!! Also, if you do not see WICKED this time round, do not dismay. This show and this production of this show will most certainly be back in our town within a few years and I suspect it will play in New York for at least another decade.

Yeah, the SRO's have been gone for just about a week or so.

I was lucky. I called when they posted the thing on their site about Partial View seats, inquiring about those (this was about three weeks ago,) and I was told that they didn't have any more, but they did have SRO, so I bought a pair. It wasn't until a week or so later that they even "announced" that they had them, so I lucked out.

Good luck with lotto! You can also try cancelation. When I won the lotto opening night, I heard a woman that worked at BCPA say that every day, they put six tickets online. No one knows when, they just go up, so keep checking their site as well!

SweetQ, thanks for keeping us informed about the WICKED lottery status.....Again, if all else fails, we now know that WICKED will be playing Miami next season at the new Miami Performing Arts Center.......I wish you much luck in all things WICKED SweetQ and also take this moment to wish you a love filled Happy Valentine's Day!

SweetQ, I think you are correct. It is likely time for me to have a new pic taken or at least a new pic scanned and posted. Of course, as you have likely guessed, I am indeed much better looking than the currently used photo indicates. Happy V Day SweetQ.
