Being Elphaba: Green girl looks back

Hey hey -- spoke with Julia Murney about the joys (and struggles) of being Elphaba, as "Wicked" hit another milestone today.

"It’s just a really hard role. It combines so many elements that you have to figure out how to rein in. It’s hard week in and week out."

We attempt to use related video as much as possible, and sometimes the fit isn't perfect. Barring any bootleg performances, if there are any -- which I certainly wouldn't use -- there isn't too much "perfect" video out there to accompany this specific story.

Side note: It wasn't the Sondheim birthday concert, it was Seth Rudetsky's "Voices for the Voiceless," which benefits foster children. The lineup was incredible -- maybe watch the video?
