I am getting ready to book tickets to Farinelli and the King for my husband and me, but I am clueless about seating. I see that they've turned the first two rows into banquette seating. There are a couple of seats available there in the second row center. Aside from that, it would be center orchestra L. Prices are the same. I've not been to the Belasco before (from Virginia), and banquette seating isn't something I've seen addressed online. This is a surprise for his bday, so I would like to do it right :) I would really appreciate any insight.

Thanks for that. So you would take that over the 2nd row banquette seating?

Seating question! What would be better, last row of the orchestra or last row of the mezzanine? I know the last row of mezzanine is probably fine, but would the orchestra be better for $30 more? Would I be able to see faces better there? Thanks!

You'll be happier in the rear orch if you're welling to spend the money, especially since it's a play. There are a few pics that might help you here - the rear mezz seems much more distant (and high) than the rear orch.

I think I'm leaning towards Rear Orch (Row P) but the thing that worries me is that I've seen a few people say they can hear street noise from there, but I guess if it's loud enough you could hear it anywhere.
