For those of you who haven't yet read Ben Brantley's rave review of Christopher Plummer's 'King Lear', here it is:

http://theater2.nytimes.com/2004/03/05/theater/reviews/05LEAR.html

I'm seeing the play on Sunday and plan to get all dolled up for it. It should be a great night of theatre.

...although the rest of the King Lear reviews were rather chilly, even for Plummer.

These reviews may be mixed, but one of our most esteemed board members saw the last run-through and claimed it was "riviting". Who are ya gonna believe?

I'm witholding judgement on the production until I see it with my own eyes.

Well it wouldn't be possible to see it "with your own feet", would it?

gosh I wish I could afford to see this - it looks amazing.

"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!

Corine - Dollypop is teasing you because the word is "riveting," not "riviting".
