lol just realized there is no phone number here to get tkts.... but i think i found it on bww... just am to technologically challenged to make a link so if you type in search " artist's crossing " there is an article about it....
adam Guettel sings a lot on his Myths and Hymns cd - he has a really beautiful voice, those of you who haven't heard him (if he's performing which is almost sounded like he was) are in for a real treat, I'm uber jealous.

Wow, what a night!
First of all, there was no air conditioning, but the performances were so wonderful it was worth it. It was quite a starry-performance filled evening:
Judy Blazer- gorgeous, funny and glamorous, sang a wonderful Thalken piece about not missing the chance to sing, and a moving duet with Nadja of They Were You.
Brent Barrett -"Time" from Was (Thalken), always handsome
Harolyn Blackwell -"Bright-eyed Joy", yes, she is
Adam Guettel - did did a number from Light in the Piazza with the kid who is understudying Fabrizio, beautiful song beautifully sung.
Ricky Ian Gordon -played two of his own songs with Ms. Brennan and Ms. Blackwell
Joseph Thalken -played for many of the performers as well as his songs being featured in the evening. Wonderful songs, wonderful pianist.
Maureen Brennan - sang a very lovely Ricky Ian Gordon song, what a gorgeous voice she has and a totally charming performer
Sarah Rice - brought down the house with a wild Mozart coloratura piece, based on twinkle, twinkle, little star. Fun. Gloriously sung.
Barbara Walsh- Both Sides Now- inspiring.
Nadja Solerno-Sonnenberg- moving rendition of the Rachmaninov vocalese and a wonderfull passionate musician. World class.
and more wonderful and talented performers (I don't have the program in front of me, so sorry to anyone I have left out, you were all just fantastic!)
It was an amazing evening of incredible talent all coming together in their love of Judy Blazer to help her start her vision of the Artist's Crossing.
Sorry for anyone who missed it. Be sure to be there next year.
Bravi tutti!
