Best Lighting Design

I loved the lighting for Aida, Miss Saigon and Hairspray. However, my favorite will always be Jane Eyre.

I'd have to agree with Hairspray. I love the wall in the back as well. The Lion King is great as well, with the sun rising in the very beginning, and night begininng to come in "Can You Feel The Love Tonight"

5) Phantom Of The Opera

*Just to remind people lighting also includes special effects, but also doesn't always mean spectacle. Sometimes the way that a single light may cast a certain shadow on a performer, whether lead or ensemble, can mean all the difference in the world as far as the look of the show!
