GreeneStreet, I have a suggestion for you. I read one of your other posts, mentioning Carmen Jones. The soundtrack to the film version has Marilyn Horne (uncredited originally) dubbing Dorothy Dandridge as Carmen, Pearl Bailey, Harry Belefonte. It's quite wonderful."
La Verne Hutcherson dubbed Harry Belafonte in the film. In fact, Pearl Bailey is the only actor in the film whose actual singing voice is used. The album is indeed quite wonderful -- but so is the Original Broadway Cast Recording.
