Best Off-Broadway Theatre Companies?

I'm coming into the city in August and i have found not alot of new shows are open then (since I'm not interested in fluffy musicals like Wedding Singer, Lestat, Hot Feet etc.) So I was wondering what are some of the best off-broadway companies that usually put on great shows? I know places like Atlantic Theatre Company are good, but are there any others I should look into?

Roundabouttheatre they have a great offbroadway house and always put on a great production.

Does anybody know when most of these theatres announce their 2006-2007 seasons?
