Four of us are planning to go to the Lyric Theatre in New York to watch Harry Potter. Two of us are very short (4ft 9". Trying to work out the best seats for us - Row A of Dress Circle or Row N of Orchestra. We have heard it is better to sit a little further back to appreciate the magic. Does anyone have any advice?

Absolutely go with the dress circle row A. Not only to appreciate the magic, but there will be a few minutes scene that can be only properly seen from the dress circle or balcony. I sat in the back orchestra before and missed it entirely. Row A is perfect.

I would highly recommend looking into orchestra row K; there is an aisle in front of the row so no heads will be in your way!
I know a lot of people recommend row K for this reason, but there's no rake in the gap between rows J and K, and you can still be blocked by a tall person/big head in row J, particularly the action that takes place at the very front edge of the stage (which I won't spoil). A very short person would probably still need a booster seat. However, the legroom is row K is unmatched.

Does anyone know where the lottery loser seats are for this show - is it just best available? Just got the email about $59 tickets after losing the lottery.
