Plan to head up to NYC from DC next week. Any recs for how to see a show at a reasonable price? I've heard of people getting rush, sro, or lottery tix but I don't live in NYC and am not sure how to get tix this way. REALLY want to see BEE, DRS, or Spamalot.
Also, is it better to try during the week rather than the weekend? School's out so my schedule is flexible...Yea!
Thx!

Bee and DRS have lottery's. They're a lot easier to get on a weekday. But, that's your best bet, as they aren't on TKTS, unless you wanna pay full price.
Spamalot is sold out for now, and you'd have to wait in the cancellation line.

"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive. "Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot." "No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one." Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.

How can I find out which shows offer lotteries? Is there a website with this info. Thx!

Thx for the website! Q: Do RUSH and lottery mean the same thing?
