Linda Eder is the sweetest with her fans! She will sign everything, take endless pictures, and smile the whole time. She has the power to make her fans feel comfortable and important.

I asked Alice Ripley to sign my shirt and the pen I gave her wouldn't work, so she goes 'wait a second, sweetie...I'm gonna run out and quickly get a better pen', and 2 minutes later, she comes back and signs my shirt, and said I was absolutely adorable. During the show, she winked at me twice as well.

Raul Esparza is incredibly humble and polite.

James Stovall and John Jeffrey Martin are INCREDIBLE. I talked to them each for a good 10 minutes.

Jarrod Emick is verrrrrry nice too.

Adam Pascal....EXTREMLEY nice...he looks a lot different in person too!

The ONLY time I ever snuck backstage to meet someone was Diana Rigg in London when she was in Follies. Not only was she charming witty appreciative of my obvious skills as a spy( Mrs Peel ref)She was as gracious as possible, offering a glass of wine & a seat in her dressing rm while she got ready to go out. She gave me a hug & kiss & flew off to a do looking ab so lute ly gorgeous! *sigh* Beware of meeting your idols, they often have feet of clay past their thighs. I was lucky she lived up to every dream of class I'd ever had about her!

before I ever worked professionally I recall wonderful encounters with:

robert morse
maureen stapleton
michelle lee
ann reinking
zero mostel

and, being the precocious child I was, I had an incredible backstage phonecall with Ruby Keeler, at the 46th Street Theater while she was starring in No, No, Nannette.

I have to say that Nathan Lane was very wonderful during Forum. He signed a poster for me for a friend who had AIDS and could not attend the show. He even went in and got another poster and signed it and gave it to me for free since he thought what I was doing was so nice for my friend.

A few of my students insisted on waiting at the stage door to talk to Kevin Spacey way back when he was in Lost in Yonkers. He talked to them about the importance of college for about 15 minutes. A real professional!
