Good job, Craig. I know non-Q&A interviews are more work. Did you think to ask her if she had seen Hugh naked backstage at all?

You know, Namo...

That question didn't even enter into my mind.

I did ask her about the nightly poker game that goes on backstage with Mitchell, Isabel and Stephanie.. does that count?

(the above didn't make it into the interview... gotta cut some things...)

Fowler's career has spanned over 40 some odd years, and all you can ask is if she's seen Hugh's wang? lol. and namo, what IS that in your picture???

so what about the poker game backstage? lol

i was in a show with stephanie in 98 and she's such a professional, i'm glad she's on broadway!

Excellent interview Craig. A remarkably talented woman. I am definitely a fan of her lovely voice. Hugh and the boys play strip poker backstage. HAHA

Beth Fowler: A Real Lady On Stage -

Nothing was written about "strip poker" being played. Some do have a one track mind.

Read the rest of this thread dude. I was being funny (or trying to be!).

Dude, I did read the thread and all the post therein. I also understand syntax. Do you? What you seem to think is funny, or at least are trying to be, is the same old tired routine. Not everyone's world revolves around being all naked, all the time.

I definitely have a one track mind. And, I like that track. My world also revolves around being naked as much as possible. AND, I know I started a sentence with the word AND and that is really ungrammatical. However, I'm allowed to break the rules of syntax if I chose. My body, my choice.

What about that adorable chorus boy, Brad Anderson, who gets to sit on the piano bench with Hugh in the second act, and nuzzle the back of his neck and snog him? I was wondering, Craig, why you didn't ask Beth if Hugh found that just a little itsy-bitsy arousing.

Great interview with a generally unheralded and genuinely nice performer! She is wonderful to work with.

re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: Beth Fowler: A Real Lady On Stage -

I first saw Beth in a review at the Caldwell Theatre in Boca Raton in the early '90s - It was love at first sight. I just thought she had such an amazing way on stage. Then, after the show, a friend of mine who was Beth's dresser on the show, took me backstage to meet her and she was just so charming and grascious - a true Lady of the stage.
"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!
