Beth Leavel was on "ER" Tonight.

She played the mom of the 17-year-old girl in a coma. She proves "there are no small parts." Love her.

I thought that was her but there was nothing on her imdb page so I wasn't sure.

Yup, that was her. re: Beth Leavel was on 'ER' Tonight. Her credit was "crying mother." Some of her lines got cut, though.
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

She also had some lines at the end of the show. Quite touching.

Good for Beth!

Me too! I went and looked it up after they showed the first shot of her. And I thought "oh I guess it wasn't her." Then when they went back to her at the end I was sure it was her and confused why it wasn't on IMDB. Oh well.
