JEK216, not what I meant at all, so you can stop with the Claymate histrionics. One would hope that any intelligent non-theater person would rather see a talented performer onstage than a Hollywood personality whose only sell point is their tabloid popularity. Especially one whose husband said Brooke Shields's career was tanking while she was starring on Broadway in Wonderful Town.

Wow, orangeskittles!!! What the hell are you talkin' about. I wasn't even talking about Clay. Why are you? This thread isn't even about him. I believe it is about the theater regulars "avoiding" certain streets for the next couple months due to the crowds of people around certain theaters. I guess my point was, why bitch about it? You should be happy there are people there at all, with the economy the way it is. If you don't like it then by all means, take an alternate route, or leave earlier or whatever.

I don't think the problem is people SEEING shows, it's people going bananas for the actors afterwards, acting inappropriately and creating a mob scene.
