44th & 45th seem like the streets to avoid for the next few months.

Are you kidding? Seems like the place to be.
The place to be? Yeah, if you're the type that reads US Weekly and stands outside the Today show with signs giving shout-outs to your hometown.
But what if you have tickets to Gypsy?! And A:0C!? I'll push through the Muggles and Scientoligists, thank you very much!

Well, if you have tickets to August, you're on the wrong street!
Oh gosh, you mean those pesky non-theater people, who stand around on the street and pay money to see the shows? Yeah, those people suck. It seems to me that some around here just like to look at a glass overflowing and call it half empty.
44th AND 45th Adam. Isn't the Music Box on 45th or am I going insane?
It is, as is the Schoenfeld.
JEK216, not what I meant at all, so you can stop with the Claymate histrionics. One would hope that any intelligent non-theater person would rather see a talented performer onstage than a Hollywood personality whose only sell point is their tabloid popularity. Especially one whose husband said Brooke Shields's career was tanking while she was starring on Broadway in Wonderful Town.
Wow, orangeskittles!!! What the hell are you talkin' about. I wasn't even talking about Clay. Why are you? This thread isn't even about him. I believe it is about the theater regulars "avoiding" certain streets for the next couple months due to the crowds of people around certain theaters. I guess my point was, why bitch about it? You should be happy there are people there at all, with the economy the way it is. If you don't like it then by all means, take an alternate route, or leave earlier or whatever.
Um.. that's what they're saying. They're going to avoid those streets.
I don't think the problem is people SEEING shows, it's people going bananas for the actors afterwards, acting inappropriately and creating a mob scene.
Not to be nitpicky, but if you're using non-character names for the others, it's only fair to say Daniel, not "Harry".

But A:OC is on the OTHER side of 45th Street.
