Beyond Babel

Curious if anyone has seen this. I was hoping to see Keone and Mari but I don't know if they're still working on the show in NY with their attention divided. I think the storytelling was muddled but there were bright spots and it was somewhat encouraging for Once Upon a One More Time and the Karate Kid musical. The style of choreography seemed to be channeling the emotion and musicality/rhythm of the piece of music with a few moments of emphatic "acting" and literal gestures. Not something I'd rush to see but if you let go of the parts that don't make sense it's entertaining if you like that So You Think You Can Dance style.
