Bigger Than Jesus

This is a VERY early heads up for NYC but this phenominal one man performance piece is in negotiations to open O B'way in 2006. Using multi media, music and yes even action figures the show is an exploration of the Catholic liturgy specifically the Catholic mass and how it illuminates Jesus as a man and a religion. In Toronto in 2005 it won Dora's ( Toronto's main theatre award) For best play , male lead, and lighting/set. And all very justified wins. Not sure if Equity will permit the writer/actor who created the show to travel south w it but as he also wrote the show MacHomer they may excempt him under the special skills category. ( One can only hope!!) When you see this advertised I highly recomend attending whater ever relgion u profess.
