Although I have not seen the show and I'm not yet sure it will ever appeal to musical theatre classicists, there was something dangerous about the number I just watched that I liked. Perhaps the show is far more subversive than one realizes at first glance. The movement of bodies on stage with that sound had me tapping my feet here. I am curious now. If I were in the city right now, I might go check it out.
