Maybe I'm the last one in NY to know this, but...
There is a group called "Billionaires for Bush" that is a strategic media and street theater group that mixes street performance, humor, savvy messaging, grassroots participation and cutting edge organizing tools to expose the failed economic policies of the current administration.
They are looking for actors and friends between jobs to help them. A friend dragged me to a meeting the other day and it was hilarious and a perfect way to expand your acting chops, do something political and meet cute people.
