Has anyone ever done Billy Elliot student rush? If so, how are the seats? For example: are they a good view? Are they front row, orchestra, mezzanine, balcony, or does the seats vary?
I've never done it, but they are whatever is available, so they could be anything. A lot of times they don't even have it because the show is sold out and doing well.

i tried last weekend on a sunday and was told that they wouldn't have any $41.50 seats until after June 6th.
they advertise rush Tuesday-Thursday subject to availability, however they have advertised $41.50 tickets as well. i've been able to get them on sunday nights before.
I agree...this one can be pretty hard to score.
The box office gentleman told me on a Friday to try again on a Tuesday - which I did, but they were not selling any 41.50 seats for that day, however he was able to sell me one 41.50 seat for the next day's matinee.
I took it, and I was in the back right corner of the building. Still alright really, since at that incline a short arse like me can see over everyone's heads.
Amazing the number of tourists at this show and at Poppins. They will both run for years...although Poppins doesn't really deserve to. What a drag that was.
All the best with getting tickets!
Used to be very easy during the winter, specifically on sunday nights which were available pretty much every week. I tried a few sunday nights ago and they told me to come back a half hour before the show then didn't end up having any. Now that it's summer it will probably be more difficult. It also seems to depend on which box office person you get.
In April and May, I went to the Box Office on a Tuesday and Wednesday. Student rush was being sold for $31.50 and both times I was offered "partial view" seats on the sides of the front orchestra. When I ended up buying the rush tickets, my seat was right orchestra/ fifth row. Not bad at all. I'm sure this will not be the case for the busy summer months.
I rushed once when Leah Hocking was on as Mrs. Wilkinson quite a long time ago and I got a seat in the front of the rear mezzanine for $41.50.
I don't know if they're doing this anymore, but for Trent Kowalik's last performance (which was a Sunday night), I got a seat in advance for $41.50 on the end of the front row of the mezzanine, which was technically partial view but I missed maybe 5 minutes of action in total. I'd recommend getting those if you can, I would totally sit there again.
