ohhhhhhhhh I am jealous of those of you who get a chance to see this! the cd is great - I especially love his story about auditioning for ITW and then his rendition of Last Midnight...I had the opportunity to see Ghetto Superstar here in Pittsburgh in the spring and it was incredible. Billy is an incredible talent with an amazing voice...Don't miss it!!

Billy Porter is freakin phenomenal. I've seen tons of Broadway shows - and his one man show of Ghetto Superstar is by far the best... he is the most electrifying performer out there. GO SEE HIM. He will change you, inspire you, make you cry, etc etc etc.

I had the good fortune to run into Billy at a club about 10 years ago and tell him what an amazing performer I thought he was. At the time he was tearing the roof off the Eugene O'Neill nightly in the Tommy Tune production of "Grease"! as "Teen Angel".

Ummmmmmmmmmmm...I NEED that CD. I'd love to hear him sing a lot of those songs...and his performance of King of the World is one of the most memorable performances I've ever seen.
