Birdland Question

I am thinking about going to see Annaleigh Ashford at Birdland on Monday... I was wondering if they have a minimum table charge or is it only the price of admission? Also, how are the side section views? Thanks for any info.

you have to pay a cover fee plus there is a $10 food/drink minimum

like blockhead24 said there is the minimum plus whatever the music fee is. the side seating is decent in some of the places. however in parts of it i would not like to sit. luckily the seating is down by first come first serve, so if you are unable to pay the premium seating price then just get there early enough to be one of the first people to ensure you get the better of the side seating. the food i have had is pretty decent, nothing spectacular, they do however have a mont lemonade that is to die for!

also if you are 21+ you can make a reservation for the bar. that does not require a minimum and you get a free drink with the music charge. that is also side seating which (so long as you get there early enough to have first pick) is not so bad. i have sat there a few times.
