I would like to join the chorus of those getting on Brantley for his criticism of Michelle Williams, who he clearly does not like. He dissed her in "Cabaret" for not being over the top enough and in "Blackbird" for being too emotional. He was wrong in both instances. He also saw the play in 2007 and in this review says he was "shaken" then, but not now. Nobody is shaken by the unpredictable journey of a drama they've already seen.
As an aside, I would like to add that both Jeff Daniels and Ms. Williams were very patient, friendly, and nice with regard to patrons who waited to see them outside after the show.
