All I know is that this show lasted one night on Broadway. Can anyone tell me more about this show (synopsis, major flaws, etc.)?

Anybody?
Krolock: Sarah, on a cold winter's night would you offer your throat to the wolf with the red roses?
Sarah: Will he offer me his mouth?
Krolock: Yes.
Sarah: Will he offer me his teeth?
Krolock: Yes.
Sarah: Will he offer me his hunger and will he starve without me?
Krolock: Yes. Oh, yes.
Sarah: And does he love me?
Krolock: (Pause.) Sarah... on a cold winter's night would you offer your throat to the wolf with the red roses?
Sarah: Yes.

Sarah: And that accent!
Krolock: Accent?
But seriously, here's the IBDB listing

Well, from this page, we can deduce that it took place between 1844 and 1845 during the Crimean War...interesting.

It was an anti-war musical set during the Crimean war.
I didn't see it, but the title song appeared on a recording of composer Michael Valenti's songs, and it was very good.

I see. Interesting.
"A play with songs about the comedy of war." The poster has a nutcracker/soldier on it with blood dripping from his heart. =/
