All I know is that this show lasted one night on Broadway. Can anyone tell me more about this show (synopsis, major flaws, etc.)?

Well, from this page, we can deduce that it took place between 1844 and 1845 during the Crimean War...interesting.

It was an anti-war musical set during the Crimean war.

I didn't see it, but the title song appeared on a recording of composer Michael Valenti's songs, and it was very good.

"A play with songs about the comedy of war." The poster has a nutcracker/soldier on it with blood dripping from his heart. =/
