How does one do a British accent anyway? Do you deliver one line in Cockney, the next in Geordie, the third in RP, the fourth in Scouse, the fifth in Glaswegian, the sixth in southern Welsh, and so on? No, really, I'm intrigued. I always thought we had a whole sparkling array of different accents here in Britain, but it seems I might be wrong and there might just be one - the British one!

Actually, the only British character is the gentleman who comes to visit, played by British actor Mark Rylance. Christine Baranski should have a French accent and Bradley Whitford are supposed to be American. The 3 stewardesses should have German, American, and Italian accents.

Baranski uses a French accent.
Bradley Whitford's character is an American living in France, so he uses no real accent. Mark Rylance is an old school friend from Wisconsin, so he does a mid-west accent.
Mary McCormack is German, Gina Gershon is Italian, and Kathryn Hahn is American.
No British accents at all.

Weez,
It should be noted that the OP meant to imply an accent that could be found in Britain, not one singular accent that applies to all people who happen to live in the British Isles. If he meant to imply that there is only one way of speaking common to all of Britain, he would have said so. Please don't be offended. We are not trying to offend you, and he most certainly did not post with any bad intentions. We are American, and thus are not totally familiar with all of the regions of England and how people speak in each region. Furthermore, the OP may not be familiar with the play, and thus might not know how the main character should speak (with respect to dialect.)
So please, lighten up it a little. It's just fun and games. =)

Dammit, I come here for snark, then you spoil it by being all reasonable and lovely. No offence taken, and no real offence meant. :)

Gosh darnit, some old people have a hard time paying attention to shows where accents are difficult to understand. She has a hard time watching British movies. You will know once you get old.
Also, is it a funny show?
